when i open this lid right after closing it the monitor wont revisit on, however the laptop continues to be on as well as does stuff just very little display.to comprehend it another on i must shut laptop down and restart them.i checked the power options and for closing the particular lid that says do nothing.this specific started today.i have got xp

Probably been paid to hibernation.Tap the power button and it should awaken.As to get why the energy settings did not work – IDK.
