What is this program on my computer?

When I look through my Norton AntiVirus security history, I find that I Norton is blocking unauthorized access 10-15 times a minute.I talked to the Norton tech support, and they told me not to worry because Norton was doing its job, but I would still like to know what this program is, and why it seems to be constantly trying to gain unauthorized access.
