USB interface

Recently, all of a sudden I found the MP3 connected to the computer, but the computer is the same as video, but can charge, but prior to plug in MP3 directly to a mobile hard drive …but as the camera mounted to the same drive…
I never used to plug in MP3 drive of the computer and reinstall …that are related to it? my computer or USB interface does not work?
