Someone supposedly from Windows phoning re my computer?

These kind of calls are usually driving us nuts and now have been taking place , for over the year at this point.I reckon it as being a scam as others have laughed and said.The calling usually appear as unavailabe or from a network it does not leave amounts.It is literally every some other day telling We’ve a number of viruses about my personal computer.I have warned them to never call again, tried properly, tried rudely, shouted at these people but these people keep arriving.Problem is I have many household overseas and occasionally their numbers appear similar for you to these so I can’t disregard.How will i stop these and even can anybody reassure me that a genuine call up from Microsoft windows wouldn’t operate this way
