O, P. Standard Operating Procedure
The American documentary Standard Operating Procedure by Errol Morris product in 2008 makes us travel to the prison of Abu Gray where he presents us with a new day. The documentary explains the abuses that have been made prisoners by officers and they tell us their reasons.
Errol Morris has managed to make a good documentary about a U.S.military unscrupulous where American soldiers explain their actions against prisoners by the fact that it was the orders of senior officers, therefore, they were forced. From this, one can understand that it is not they the real culprits, but even when these are the orders, they could refuse or even not to do and say the opposite. In its place, they obey the orders and stupid, they take photographs of their actions, but it is to take pictures with them before the camera to better prove their guilt. Let us talk about his photographs:a human pyramid with naked prisoners, a young soldier holding a prisoner on a leash nude where it has the big smile or a prisoner on a chain being to psychological torture, it’s hard to know that it is the most awful. The problem is that there is no evidence to tell them. In conclusion, this documentary allows us to better understand this event featuring young soldiers with no experience in a useless war and once again we see that American justice has failed. The documentary is mounted even if there are short lengths during interviews with the soldiers. Errol Morris managed to explain the event, but we do not provide precise answers on the real culprits.
