My antivirus is disabled?

MY PARTNER AND I clearly keep in mind my antivirus Avast! was around the last moment I de-activate my laptop.But next time i opened it, it was disabled.MY PARTNER AND I turned this back with, and subsequently it laughed and said “A course is wanting to shut down Avast! ” as well as something around those traces.I repudiated to give it time to so WE clicked absolutely no.I’m currently doing a full check with Malwarebytes in addition to Avast! and I’m unsure what happened.Help
