Is the only memory on a laptop on the hard drive or does it hold info anywhere else?

The hard disk is the only place when information is usually stored for good.Make guaranteed there may not be any hard disk drives still from the CD/DVD dish, too, or just about any thumb drives plugged in–those is also the only some other possible areas data could be stored following on from the power is deterred (anything in RAM will be wiped once laptop is off).
The hard disk is the only place that the data is stored if you switch laptop computer off.
