Inserting column in excel 2003 sheet, formula not working.?

Concerning a exceed sheet through which i own given any formula, as an example, =average(a1:f1), now i would like to add one more columnin in between then blueprint being wrong, when my organization is adding innovative column the typical is becoming to the 7 content, i merely want regular of first 6 tips.

I’m assuming that contributing the column alterations the method to =average(a1:g1), so can’t you simply change that formula returning to =average(a1:f1)
I dont realise why highlighting the G column as well as inserting the latest column should not work.
