I cannot figure this problem out in unix. Can anyone help me with it?

I will be using unix and I cannot learn how to run this command.Can anybody help At times the p44 group will have to change the actual system date to undertake software screening.Give this command regarding modifying your date command to ensure that ordinary people can implement the command when using the privileges connected with su.

Do you could have sudo available

Then you can create the p44 team execute any sudo with or and not using a password.
Something similar to this in sudoers

%p44 ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD:/bin/date

Then they just need to “sudo /bin/date ARGUMENTS”
to operate it.

The opposite dangerous route to do that:

allow it to be setup origin, but solely executable by group p44 rather than by others

u can modify date by,

time frame mmddhhmi

when mm = month
dd = time of month
hh = hour
mi = minute
such as.date 05102057
time frame:may 15, 8:57 pm

u will use su..incase of your privilege problem…
such as.su time frame 05102057
in that case giv the actual password….
this wil transform..

time frame –help as well as man date..gives info about using date.
