How to change font color on a wordpress blog?

I’m not fussed about the color from the text I’ve truly written throughout my post, But I really want to be able to change the colour of the actual Pages tab, the Links along with the Categories.
I recognize nothing related to HTML plus CSS therefore I’ll need an extremely detailed response, with actual instructions!
