How do I delete the white background of an image?

Now i’m using paintshop expert to delete the light background of the picture (gif), I’m sure I’m working correctly ; however , when I try and use this picture within powerpoint this background keeps finding their way back whether WHEN I copy that image right from psp or regardless of whether I help save it after which it insert that.

Is at this time there anyway i can delete this background I need to get rid of it to try and do my presentation

After deleting the background endeavor to save the particular file within.png format.And then do it in your current presentation.

You really need to change your background in order to transparent.
