How can i connect my thinkpad to my desktop?

i’d prefer to be connected my thinkpad to jog off my personal computer but once i try for connecting them jointly my thinkpad makes on flickering.
the thinkpad is usually a thinkpad advantage 11
my computer is usually a windows SIX
what do i can do to make my thinkpad to act like a normal Monitor

If you are trying to display your computer on the thinkpad when i.e.use your current laptop being a monitor it can not be done simply by connecting the VGA jacks – your VGA is definitely output just.
You can actually set up a remote computer repair connection through a multilevel and remote pc help access the pc via the laptop then you laptop would display the computer screen
