Does Hewlett Packard HP make their own ink & toner cartridges or do they outsource to third parties?

With each of the advertising related to being “green” in order to only obtain “GENUINE” HP cartridges We are curious if their cartridges can be made by Hewlett packard.

Is he / she made in USA or is he outsourced to help China etc

Hewlett Packard does not make their toner ones or inkjet tubes.They use outsourcing for them to help Malaysia (per appearance on my HP ink here with house).

Their own claim to be able to “green” just isn’t substantiated.Their carbon footprint alone can be quite high a result of long way away traveled from manufacture to finish user.Also there are numerous other far more eco-friendly alternatives.There usually are companies within the US that manufacture good quality toners and that are furthermore ISO 14001 accredited.Google “Made With USA toner cartridge” and you will get several great solutions.
