Do I have a virus on my Mac?

I’ve a MacBook Professional that goes on OS IN THIS HANDSET X.It isn’t really the newest the one which just ended up, but a main before that.Today I got surfing and Managed to get a pop-up saying that I had loads of viruses.And I couldn’t believe them, I thought it had been a trick, so MY PARTNER AND I kinda overlooked it.However my personal computer froze, and I had to reactivate.Now it is really fine, but you will find something incorrect because end of it where the actual “dock” is but it shows the word icon, it can be blank.The spot possibly there is, and as soon as I’m jogging word it pops up when using the little light underneath this, but there’s no icon.
Did this specific virus point give me personally a virus Does someone actually possess a virus
