Can i add this harddrive?

Good so WE currently possess 1x500GB WD SATA harddrive in the computer that has the os on that.And We have another harddrive and that is a 1T Samsung SATA harddrive.Would I have the ability to put the particular 1T in the computer as well as raid config these.

And also the last and the majority important issue, would it delete the particular stuff to the hard drive I am adding into the computer, because I have plenty of stuff with that 1T and I usually do not want it to get deleted.
