Out of space on Macbook?

So I merely bought a external disk drive.I decide to put everything upon it.I would like to find music plus put the idea straight against the hard disk and not on the Macbook because I’ve no area left.Is there the right way to do this When I perform have new music only upon my harddrive, will it show up on our Itunes once i plug while in the hard drive

Essentially, consolidate ones media, move it for the external drivae subsequently tell iTunes where it is:
iTunes > Preferences > State-of-the-art > iTunes Advertising folder site.
