Is Firefox 4 faster or Google Chrome?

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox FOUR, its kind of laggy but my girlftriend say Gogle Chrome is the fastest.

firefox is laggy…i installed a fairly easy skin..plus it lags although moving tab and etc
and its much less fast seeing that chrome..not really near of which fast
