How do i download words with friends on my itouch 1g?

WHEN I tried downloading it on itunes, but it won’t sync against my itouch.WHEN I also tried using downloading it from my personal itouch, but itunes tells me i want the freshest itouch replace.
Once i went for you to update them through itunes, it explained it was up to date.
