I just wrote an 8 page paper on microsoft word and now it is gone?

I got writing this on my personal laptop but decided to send the item to my email so I will open it on the desktop computer so I could truthfully concentrate much better.I approved it on Google chrome coming from yahoo and saved the idea.I was using ‘microsoft’ Word 07 on Home windows 7.I spent all day writing the idea and saving it so when I had been done WHEN I closed it so that I could send them to this instructor.And then after i went to take into consideration it..practically nothing! Its as plainly never actually wrote nearly anything.I even went to check the history page on the internet chrome but it has no record connected with me even planning to my google mail to be able to retrieve it each morning…what the actual hell is going on and when will i find my personal paper.Please help regards.

Editing a new document right away from an email is a dangerous exercise.Often the actual file that gets opened may be a temporary one and disappears totally once the editing system closes, so Will save to them are worthless (Save As’s to some different document are ALL RIGHT, but it is really often difficult to make sure do that will.)

It’s commonly better saving the file out of your email first, then wide open the ended up saving file and develop it.

The nice thing about it is usually that the original copy is probably still attached with the contact.

All still, there’s a new slim opportunity your track still exists with your temp list.(Thunderbird specifically is doing this now — as well as it’s Phrase itself.)

With Windows XP:

D:\Documents along with settings\your username\Local settings\temp

With Windows Vista:

D:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\temp

Avoid getting fooled simply by files that look almost want it:Word likewise creates many temporary files which can be useless to your account.

Look at File Save As with Chrome to discover where this saves files.You will probably find the particular file using an html extension when you actually unspent the track.
