Can i open a spreadsheet created in excel 2010 in excel 2007?

I’m sure that inside older versions of excel you had to spend less the spreadsheet in the different format so it may be read previously versions with excel.However although it has an option intended for save because type at this time there doesn’t look an option for accomplishing this.If i just now save my work that will my usb pen am i going to be capable of open that and focus on it in excel 2007
