If I am seeding a torrent, do I need to have my uTorrent open for my peers to download?

My organization is the merely seeder of your torrent I recently uploaded as well as people say it may not be downloading.Usually because WE don’t normally have my uTorrent course open, or will it be because My business is the only seeder You’ll find 3 colleagues if which helps many.
