Why won’t my background go transparent?

Using Photoshop Elements – Concerning a collection drawing connected with clip art – the hot puppy.I want to get rid of the white background and allow it to be transparent.I used the miraculous eraser instrument and produced the backdrop transparent (Grey along with white checked) – but it won’t save like a jpeg accomplishing that :keeps the item a photoshop file.I want it as a jpeg in order to bring towards Publisher.

jpeg’s really don’t save together with transparent backdrops.Try PNG or even the outdated GIF structure…

You could also save it like a PSD track.
