Microsoft replaces the disappointing Windows Vista Seven.

Two years after the launch Windows Vista, the latest operating system from Microsoft, the software giant is already preparing the release of its successor called Windows Seven.  As early as Friday, the computer fans will be able to try a pilot version in English of Windows Seven.

Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, has confirmed the launch of these first tests during his presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show last night in Las Vegas.  However, Windows Vista has sold 140 million copies between February 2007 and March 2008 had demanded six years of development and an investment of several billion dollars.

 Faster

In fact, Windows Vista has sparked mixed reactions from users.  These have sometimes regretted having to change computers for running Vista that requires a large memory.  Microsoft had not anticipated the emergence of notebook, these small PC on which to surf.  Windows Vista is too heavy to equip these machines.  The notebook is equipped with Windows XP!

However, Windows Seven whose date of marketing has been set at January 2010 will be able to run on the notebook.  Windows Seven should be both faster and able to work with touch screens.  Its use will be simplified and it will be possible to network the various terminals of the same household to share its contents and view the online tools (cameras, printers).  But Steve Ballmer also announced new services to Windows Live, the Internet platform of Microsoft.

First, users of “messengers”, the instant messaging service that has 21 million users in France, will be automatically connected to all social networks with whom Microsoft has established partnerships (Face book, Flicker, Linked In, over blog , My Space, You Tube, Daily Motion, Twitter …).  Users can also store, edit and share photos and create private spaces with groups of friends.  Finally, Steve Ballmer welcomes an agreement with Dell that Windows Live and Windows Search will be available by default on all PCs sold next month.
