Orange, SFR and Bouygues will suffer from the 4th 3G license

This is the finding that financial analysts are in general, and especially Exane BNP Paribas, which gives its estimate for the three French operators of mobile telephony.

The figures are wrong because in six years, planning the entry of a fourth player, taking the low range (10%), loss of customers will be SFR at 2.3 million, 3 million for Orange and Bouygues Telecom for 1.3 only.

In terms of turnover, the situation is logically identical with a fall in prices induced by the new entrant (perhaps Free) to be 14%.  Shortfalls then vary from 700 million to 1.5 billion euros per operator.

However, if analysts believe more and more the economic model of low-cost Free, others like Martin Bouygues are furious and say as it became the custom:”deploy a 3G network to 1 billion euros, as Free says, seems to me impossible, except to the cuckoo on the incumbents, “and continued:” Establish, in town, new antennas for a new network is feasible given the environmental pressures.[And] if the government allows new entrants to come to the ultra-low cost “in the mobile, it takes a heavy responsibility.Ultimately, a price war could cause 10,000 to 30,000 job losses with operators. These choices have serious consequences, especially if they promote someone who does not.”

This statement seems to be a most significant sign of the future price war.  Free with Freebox and perhaps his motives, is already in the eyes of many experts as a “credible brand” on this new niche for her.
