Ubuntu Linux

I know …  you have a PC running Windows!  Me too!  Finally, I have one:under Vista Ultimate.  Cracked …  because I do not see why I would put some euros in the fortune of Gates!

Let’s be serious.  You buy a PC, it is in Windows.  Because you have no choice!  And everywhere you repeat the same thing:you do not have to accept.  Especially since Windows is a continual source of trouble!  You, like me, we do the more stupid that we have poisoned the life…

So one is still thinking …  If so, it comes!

The snobs go at Apple.  At that price it costs…

 Let…!

 Rest …  Linux!

Leaving aside the philosophy of “Free” and then we see directly the practical side.  It is completely free …  And there already, some are wondering if this is not a joke?  And then, what can we still be there today?  A complete OS, simply.  Because of a “complete” Windows does not even propose.  Agree that Microsoft has made some efforts, but try to use what Vista offers?  Not go far guys …  And then, Vista is a vulgar thing that makes you life a beautiful package, but the content still feels cobbled together…

So I tried it, there is more than a year.  Downloaded a version of Ubuntu Linux at the time …  Live-CD!  There are only Windows Vista that gives you the opportunity to test the different versions.  For 30 days!  But we still have to install on the hard disk.

This is not the case of a Linux Live CD, who does not.  You test your RAM.  Simply …  This allows you to use all the features of the OS, without any restrictions.  All software and utilities are already there:nothing should be added.  The icing on the cake:there is no anti-virus, for the simple reason that Linux does not need it!  This will significantly change the lives…

For the rest, an Ubuntu Linux or Mandriva for example, do not differ greatly from Windows.  Mit from the appearance of course, but otherwise everyone gets aesthetics he likes.  And then, where there is a Windows to Linux are dozens and dozens of different applications …  Everyone trying to test what he wants (just download and burn a version) and edit its own content.  As a reminder, we are here in the world of “Free” and where there is a license, it is generally very permissive…

Linux is a world without limits.

Is therefore inevitably the day you go to phase “installation”.  My Ubuntu 8.10 (version October 2008) run every day:the Internet, downloading, etc …  And it’s always nickel!
