Gimp gap video error Opensuse?

Im using Gimp and We’ve install Difference – Gimp cartoon package.
I’d prefer to come up with a GIF using a video clip, but when I try to upload a video playback – it pops up with one.I feel using Opensuse.Any advice

i’m not a video specialist, far from that, simply existed the Internet for some time.
my understanding usually GIF is the (compressed) picture or your sequence associated with (compressed) pics.
more being a (very short) cartoon then for a movie.
i don’t believe you are able to use any video directly in making an super-hero GIF.
you it is fair to decompose the actual video in its personal images and reassemble them from the GIF report.
but even that will be critically limited by the fact every frame of a GIF may have at the majority of 256 distinct colors; two distinct frames may use two entirely distinct palettes, thus having a total of 512 various colors, however one style is restrained to 256 colors, which seriously isn’t even good for a white & ebony movie (because generally there quickly become more then 256 overcast tones).

in case your purpose is always to compact this video, you are probably better down converting (AVI besides MPG ) or to among the list of mobile mobile phones video format for example 3GP.

one major issue might be size involving file/ time-span of true video,
another cause might be format associated with video, mpeg, avi, mov.wmv,…
while importing clip verify options arena that involve being crammed and resource and end result folder,
you may import video tutorial from video clip > separate video in frames> movie range
choose quantity of frames, playback after that save structures as distinguish images out of clip after which it use throughout layers to get gif structure,
______

if video clip is little enough you might try on the internet gif converter while test,
