How do you get a website to detect a mobile phone and direct it to the .mobi version of a site?

I am trying to make sure my website is compatible with mobile devices.Is there a way for a niche site to find a smartphone and frontward it to be able to it’s.mobi version

Perhaps value it with cellular devices in mind in the 1st place

HTML5, jQuery (with jQuery Cell phone etc) :I’ve designed a niche site for my wife, and it shows up brilliantly on every one of the devices I have tried up to now – apple iphone, iPad, Chromium about Ubuntu pc, Opera about Windows desktop computer, Safari about Windows desktop computer etc.This doesn’t happen look in which great at my Nokia 6120 Traditional, but who has those lately anyway:) (Except me personally:()

There days, I really don’t think there’s any have to have a cell phone version of an website — just code it pertaining to mobile browsers as being the base in any case.You could possibly lose quite a few IE people, but do you desperately want them while visitors / consumers:)

You will likely need to detect the actual ” consumer agent ” regarding user

Possibly that IP Address in the device

Im quite sure the particular addresses will vary for Cellular devices.

in almost all cases, upgrading ‘WWW.NO with AM.’ may work.
