My father said he didn’t want to work.

My father has retired a year ago.There are other units to hire him to go to work.After a year, he also changed a job.We thought he would stick to one year.But he said he was a little tired yesterday.If he will really retired the end of this semester.We respect his suggestion.Work for a lifetime also should have a rest.
