How can I turn read-only off on my hard-drive?

I’m endeavoring to transfer quite a few files via my laptop to the external hard-drive nonetheless it tells my home it’s learn only.It isn’t on my main laptop so how can i make them so Allow me to write records onto it too from a good external source It’s just a 320GB Seagate external Drive.I’m genuinely tech inhibited so any help could well be great:)

It might only always be done, around the subdirectories.

You were using a standard customer account, right Wood off along with on again as a possible administrator.If at this time there isn’t “Administrator” around the Welcome display screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice to talk about the traditional login monitor and type in the username “Administrator”

Easy…..right visit file/folder plus select Attributes.Look pertaining to Attributes at bottom in addition to uncheck the item.Click so.
