Whats slows laptops? heavy softwares or what?

okay we’ve a sony vaio.and at this time i hav as a lot computer softwares on the idea, like CAD, an entire adobe innovative suite ( inc illustrator, illustrator, foreworks dreamwaver ) and so forth etc for example!
plus my laptop is somewhat slow these days! is this becauseor for the reason that i’m usually using my personal laptop a great deal (almost most of night primarily, due to exams! ) Now i’m using lots of softwares these days or ive got rather a lot CAD + photoshop files stored to it
