Cpanel htaccess 301 redirect not working. Help !?

Expected cpanel to accomplish a old card 301 redirect for equipmentexplained.com to be able to www.equipmentexplained.com
Even so, the old card portion of the redirect is not working. What is wrong with the code below, put around by cpanel

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %HTTP_HOST equipmentexplained.com$
RewriteRule (.*)$ “http\:\/\/www\.equipmentexplained\.com$ R=301, L

Please can certainly some 1 tell me the ideal code that will put.Thank you quite definitely.I am desperate for some assistance.

It’s really common to go through 301 redirect thanks to different server configurations.I could say for a glance that you should change this url out of RewriteRule (.*)$ “http\:\/\/www\.equipmentexplained\.com$ R=301, L
To
RewriteRule (.*)$ “http//:\/\/www\.equipmentexplained\.com R=301, L
You might also attempt removing this $ signal.
Check here additional information:

Also note a back corner slashes. These might be correct for a few servers but you might need to adjust them to help forward lower:http:\\ and also http://.

Not 100% sure what you are attempting to do because the redirect looks to get going on the root with the site, but should you mean it isn’t going to help www.equipmentexplained.com whenever www is devote the handle bar do that

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %HTTP_HOST equipmentexplained.com$ OR
RewriteCond %HTTP_HOST world wide web.equipmentexplained.com$
RewriteRule (.*)$ “http\:\/\/www\.equipmentexplained\.com$ R=301, L

And also

Remove this redirect code from the Site roots.htaccess in addition to try again with no wild cards.
